Petitioners are before this Court with the request to quash the instruction no.7 of the instructions given on undated admit cards of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Examination 2018 issued by the second respondent for written examination, which is going to be conducted on 12.03.2018, so far it relates to not evaluating the answersheets in condition of overwriting/cutting on the answer sheets. Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to give the option of correction of answers during the written examination period which are going to be conducted on 12.03.2018.
At the very outset, learned Standing Counsel raised an objection that the present writ petition has been filed merely on the basis of apprehension and even presumption has also been drawn that petitioners would make overwriting/cutting and may also use whitener in the coming examination and as such in this background, request so made in the petition cannot be accepted merely on the basis of apprehension and presumption as the writ petition is premature and no cause of action has risen to warrant any interference.
Confronted with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioners requested that the writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed at this stage.
Request made is accepted.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed at this stage.
