1. Called in revise. None appeared to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel is present for respondents. In the circumstances, I myself have perused the record.

1. By means of present writ petition, petitioners have sought following reliefs:

"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 11.06.1993 passed by Collector/District Magistrate, Sonbhadra;

(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties not to implement the order dated 11.06.1993 of the Collector/District Magistrate, Sonbhadra;

(iii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to appoint the petitioners as Collection Amins on the existing vacancies in Tehsil Robertsganj, District Sonbhadra and permit the petitioners to work as Seasonal Collection Amins till the regular selection is not being made on the post of Collection Amins;
