Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief:
"a) to call for the records of the allege selection and to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent No.3 not to approve the selection of the respondent no.5 to 7 as they obtained the alleged appointment by way of forgery as there was no post of ClassIV employee in the school neither post were sanctioned by competent authority;
b) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and decide the enquiry in pursuant to representation made by the petitioner and take appropriate action against the person involved in the forgery of selection on process."
After the argument was heard at some length. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner does not want to press this writ petition and therefore, it may be dismissed as not pressed.
In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
