The petitioner, who is defendant in Original Suit No.939 of 2014 and has filed an appeal bearing Misc. Appeal No.26 of 2016 challenging the order of the trial court granting temporary injunction, has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the appellate court to decide the appeal expeditiously.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 29.1.2018, the plaintiff sought adjournment in the appeal.
Having regard to these facts, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the appellate court to make all endeavour to decide the appeal expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments.
