The petitioner, who is defendant in Original Suit No. 1026/1997 has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the trial Court to decide the suit, expeditiously.
Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the plaintiff respondents are deliberately delaying the disposal of the proceedings, as there was an order of temporary injunction passed in their favour, which is being extended from time to time.
Having regard to the fact that the suit is of the year 1997, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial Court to decide the suit expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
