Section 21. Deans of Faculties

(1) The Dean of each Faculty of each University shall be a whole-time salaried officer of the University and shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor on the recommendation of [the Recruitment Board] constituted under section 58.

(2) The Dean of each Faculty shall be the Chief Executive and Academic officer of the Faculty, responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for its administration.
