When the writ petition was listed before this Court as fresh, learned counsel for the Commission was called upon by this Court to seek instructions as to whether there are any Rules with the Commission which warrant to withhold the result of such candidate against whom a criminal litigation is pending or a first information report was lodged. The learned counsel for the Commission sought time to seek instructions. Today, he fairly submits that on a meeting held on 30.11.2023, the Commission on Agenda No.137, it has been decided that the candidates whose result were kept in a sealed envelope shall be opened and the recommendation shall be immediately sent to the Appointing Authority/Government with an endorsement regarding the pendency of the |
