			Petitioners were appointed as Assistant Teacher in different Government Primary Schools in District Rudraprayag. Subsequently, when it came out that they have secured appointment based on forged documents, petitioners were put under suspension in contemplation of departmental enquiry. In these writ petitions, they have challenged the order of suspension. Learned State Counsel apprised the Court that chargesheet has been issued to the petitioners and in case of some petitioners, termination order has also been passed upon conclusion of enquiry, while in remaining cases, either enquiry has been concluded or the same is likely to conclude very soon. In such view of the matter, nothing survives in these writ petitions. Even otherwise also, it is settled law that suspension is not a punishment and the same is resorted to prevent the delinquent government servant from interfering with
