others, Hon’ble Single Judge of this Court was pleased to pass the order on 16.09.2010 in favour of the petitioner. The said writ petition was allowed and a writ of mandamus was issued directing respondent no. 3 to transfer the petitioner from Armed Police to his original cadre of Civil Police, within a period of two weeks, from the date of production of certified copy of that order. In yet another case bearing Writ Petition (S/S) No. 1320 of 2011 Constable No. 440 Armed Police Omesh Kumar and another vs. State of Uttarakhand and others learned Single Judge of this Court was pleased to allow the writ petition on 19.12.2011 and a writ of mandamus was issued directing respondent no. 4 to transfer the petitioners from Armed Police to their original cadre of Civil Police, within a period of two weeks, from the date of production of certified copy of that order.
