The petitioner, by means present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to sanction the maternity leave for the period which she went on maternity leave, to the petitioner on the same terms and conditions which the regular employees are getting.
