Applicant Sanju alias Montu, who is in jail in connection with case crime no. 14 of 2014, in respect of offences punishable under Sections 392, 411 of IPC, relating to police station, Doiwala, District Dehradun, has sought his release on bail.
Heard learned counsel for the parties, perused the documents on record and considered the grounds taken up in the bail application.
An FIR was lodged against the applicant and two others for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 411 of IPC, alleging therein, that they snatched the chain of the mother of the informant. Present applicant was arrested on the same day alongwith the case property.
Learned Dy. Advocate General opposed the bail on the grounds, inter alia , that the applicant may abscond if he is granted bail.
Applicant is in jail since 28.01.2014 and is not a previous convict. Learned counsel for the applicant

submitted that the applicant is ready to furnish reliable sureties if he is granted bail.
Considering the facts and attenuating circumstances, a case for bail is made out in favour of the present applicant.
The bail application is allowed. Let the applicant be released on bail on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties, each of like amount to the satisfaction of C.J.M., Dehradun.
If, at any point of time, it is found that the applicant is threatening the complainant or any of his witnesses or tampering with the evidence, it will be open to the applicant to move for cancellation of bail before the court concerned.
