Heard Mr. A.K. Bhowmik, the learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. R. Datta, the learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. R.C. Debnath, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for granting bail to the accused namely, Shri Nanda Dulal Pal, who has been detained in custody since 01.06.2017 in connection with Sonamura P.S. Case No.2017 SNM 032 U/s 302 of IPC.
With the assistance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I have carefully gone through the Case Diary and the statement of the witnesses. In my opinion, this is not a fit case for granting bail to the applicant in this case.
Consequently, the bail application is rejected.
