Heard sri M.V.Rama Rao, learned. counsel for the petitioner, learned' Assistant Government Pleader for Services-Home appearing for the respondent Nos.l to 5 and perused the material on record.

2' Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition seeking to declare that the Memorand.um No.581/Al-Estt/rcprMz-L/2023 dated os.og.2023 issued by respondent No.3 as illegal and arbitrary.

3' Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondent No.3 issued Memorandum No.sgI./Al-Esttlrcp/MZ_ L/2023 dated o5.og-2023, raising objections to the petitioner,s craim in the Provisional Integrated Seniorit5, List of Inspectors of police (Civil)

of Multi Zone-l, in continuation to G.O.Ms.No.153 Home (Ser.I) Department dated 05. 10.2018 (from the batch of 1996 to 2008). The impugned order of the respondent No.3 is based on the ground that the petitionr:r approached the respondent authorities with delay and his representation cannot be considered. In fact, respondent No.5 filed a counter c'n behalf of the respondents, wherein Paragraph No.16 reads as follrtws:

l,earned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the respondent l,lo.2 has sent the proposal to the respondent No. 1, which is pending for consideration. Without awaiting orders from the respondent l\o.. 1, the respondent No.3 passed the impugned order, which is liable to be set aside and the respondent No. t has to decide the petitione.r's claim for placement on par with his immediate junior, Sri B.Balaji, in the seniority list. In view of the same, learned counsel requested ttLis Court to allow the writ petition by directing the respondent a.uthorities to consider the petitioner's case for promotion to the post o,'Deputy Superintendent of Police on par with his juniors,

by recti$ing the seniorit5t list of Inspectors of Multi 7.one-l appropriately, including in ST roster points.

l,earned Assistarrt Government Pleader for Services (Home), basing on the counter filed by the respondents, submits that as. and when the orders are received from the Government in view of the letters addressed by the respondent No.2 on O6.L2.2O23 and O1.O8.2O24, the respondent No.3 will take appropriate steps and communicate the same to the petitioner and therefore, requested to pass appropriate orders.

In view of the above submissions made by both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of by setting aside the Memorandum No.581/AlEstt/lGP/MZ-L/2023 dated 05.09.2023 issued by the respondent No.3 and directing the respondent No. 1 to take appropriate action on the letters addressed by the respondent No.2 uide Lr.C.No.286/ELl2O23 dated 06.12.2023 and Lr.C.No.286lEll 2023 dated 01.08.2024 withlin four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shalt be no order as to costs.
