When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the subject C.C.No.310 of 2020 had ended in acquittal on 26.11.2025 and that the present Criminal Petition had therefore become infructuous and was liable to be dismissed. Recording the aforesaid submission, the High Court (Tirumala Devi Eada, J.) dismissed the criminal petition as infructuous and directed that pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand closed.
