This Writ Petition is frled to declare the action of ttre respondents in seizing the petitioner's vehicle bearing No.TS 19 TA 8289 under the cover of panchanarna in connection with Crime No.291 of 2025 of Kamareddy Town police Station, Kamareddy District, as illegal, arbitraqr and unconstitutional.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Suppties appearing on beha_lf of respondents Nos. 1 to 4 and learned Government pleader for Home appearing on behalf of respondent No.5. perused the material on record.

The vehicle of the petitioner bearing No.TS 19 TA B2gg, was seized under the cover of panchanama by respondent No.5 in connection with Crime No.291 of 2O2S of Kamareddy Town Police Station, Kamareddy District, under Section 31g(4) of

4 Learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies submitted that proceedings under Section 6-A of the E.C. Act have been initiated against the petitioner and the same are pending. karned Government Pleader further submitted that the subject vehicle is still in the custody of respondent No.5 poiice station.

In view of the above facts and circumstances, taking into consideration the fact that the respondent authorities have initiated proceedings under Section 6-,4 of the E.C. Act and the same are pending, this ct i's inclinecl to grart relief to the petitioner

Accordingiy, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent No.S to release the vehicle bearing No.TS 19 TA 8289, seized under the cover of panchanama in connection with Crime No.29l of 2025 of Kamareddy Town Police Station, Kamareddy District, in favour of the petitioner subject to

condition of her furnishing bank guarantee by way of Fixed Deposit for a sum of Rs.25,OOO/- (Rupees Twent5r Five Thousand only) in favour of respondent No.2. Release of the vehicle shall be subject to outcome of the conhscation p under Section 6-A of the E.C. Act. pending such proceedings, the petitioner is directed not to alienate or a-lter physical features of t]-e subject vehicre, and are further directed to produce the vehicle as and when required by tJle authorities concerned. No order as to costs.
