Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Corporation to direct respondent Corporation to determine the combined seniority of Assistant Engineers or Assistant Engineers in accordance with Regulation^'19 of Section ll of A.P.Police Housing Corporation Ltd., Service Regulations, 1979, regulate promotions to the post of deputy Executive Engineer Strictly in accordance with combined seniority of Assistant Executive Engineers and Assistant Engineers and in accordance with Regulation 20 of the A.P. Police Housing Corporation Service Regulations, 1979, and to grant promotions to petitioners as Deputy Executive Engineers as per their eligibility, suitability and seniority from the date of promotion of their^juniors.
