This Civil Revision Petition is filed under Art cle 227 ol'the Corrstitution o1'lndia, seeking a direction to the lea'ned Principal Junior Civil Judge, Medchal, Medchal - Malkaj;_r ri l)istrict, to dispose of O.S.No.937 of 2024 filed by the petitior ,er against the

respondent for cviction and recovery ofpossessior, in accordance

with law, as cxpeditiously as possible, by fixing sor re timelincs.

Petitioner hled the present revision seeking a direction to the learned trial Court to dispose ofthe said suit contending that respondent is misusing the delay in civil litigation, continuing unlawful possession over the subject property. It is also his contention that he is a Senior Citizen.

Perusal of the plaint filed by the petitioner herein would reveal that he was aged about 65 years as on the date of filing of the said suit. He is now aged 66 years old. He is a Senior Citizen. The suit is filed for eviction and separate possession. The year 1999 was observed as "[nternational Year of Older Persons". In view of the "National Policy for Older Persons" adopted by the Govemment of India, the erstwhile lligh Court of Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad issued a Circular vide ROC.No.4790ll999lOP Cell-E, dated 02.1 I .1999 directing all the Judicial Officers in the State to identily and dispose of matters in which persons above "65 years" of age are involved, on priority basis. issued Circulars vide ROC.No.3465/E_l/2003, dat :d 05.12.2003, ROC.No.1230/Op Ce|-E/2005, dated 20 ( B.2OO5 and ROC.No.3465/E-t12003, dated,14.12.201I and thr: High Court of Judicature at Flyderabad for the States of Telangar a and Andhra Pradesh vide Circular in ROC.No.5226/Op Cell_)12014, dated 20.12.2014. in which specific instructions are ir sued to give priority to the cases relating to senior citizens for ,.1 e expeditious disposal. tn the light of the .same, notice to th<. respondent _ defbndant is waived of by invoking power of thrs Court under Article - 227 of thrc Constitution of India.
