This Criminal Petition is hled praying t lis Court to enlarge the petitioner on bail who is arrayed as ac:used No.S in Crime No. I 1.52 of 2O25 before the Medipally Poli, e Station, on the file of Principal Junior Civil Judge cum V Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Medchal-Malk jgiri District, at LB.Nagar, registered for the offences puni hable under Sections 118(1), 308(2), 1O8, 19l(2) read with 1!( of BNS, and Sections 3(2)(v) of SC/ST (POA) Act.

The bricf facts of the case are that r 19-year-old engineering student, Jadhav Sai Teja, allegerl y committed suicide after lrcing harassed and humiliated tl a group of seniors and acquaintances. The complainant, .ladhav Prem Singh, receive<i a WhatsApp message from hir; son's phone containing a selfie video stating he was being bealr n and cannot tolerate it anymore. An investigation revealed tha t Sai Teja and his friends were threatened, beaten, and forced tr, :2r, bar bill by the accused individuals.

Heard Sri N.Narsimulu, Iearned counse I for pe titioner, and Sri D.Arun Kumar, learned Additional public prosecutor for respondent - State.

Learned counsel for tlle petiLioner submitted that the petitioner, Accused No. 5, is innocent and falsely implicated in the case. He asserted that the petitioner was not present at the time of the incident and has no role in the alleged offense. He averred that petitioner, a law-abiding citizen from a respectable agricultural family, was arrested without any evidence, and divulged that the petitioner only accompanied the deceased's friends to the Gossip Bar to mediate a dispute between them and their junior, Murali, and paid the bar bill on their behalf. Therefore, he prayed the Court to grant bail to the petitioner by allowing th is criminal petition.

On the other hand, the learned Additional public Prosecutor opposed the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, contending that the complaint averments would clearly reveal that there are specific and serious allegations against the accused. Therefore, he prayed the Court to dismiss the criminal petition.

Having regard to rival submissions^made,i nd^{on going} through the material placed on record, it is^{nc ted} that^the statements recorded before the Police would^{s.'r rw that this} petitioner aiso beat the deceased. In view of sevet i y of offences and considering the stage of the case, this^{Court ir not inclined} to grant bail to the petitioner and the^{samei s liable to be} dismissed.
