Petitioners claim to be the residents of Vanama Nagar Village, Chunchupally Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem District and belongs to below poverty line and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and backward class communities. They are eking out their livelihood u-orking as coolies/labour in Singareni Collieries and in other allied activities at daily wages. The case of the petitioners is that they are '.< the absolute owners and possessors of the house sites and they are

residing in the aforesaid Viilage for several decades. The^grievance of the petitioners herein is that the^houses which are in^their possession have been dismantled for the^purpose of^{mining activity} being undertaken by the Singareni Collieries.^{The main grievanceof} the petitioners herein is that while identifying^{that they are entitled} for the benefits extended under the^{provisionsof the Act, the} respondents have not extended the^{benelttsfor providing house sites.} Aggrieved by the inaction of the^{respondent authorities,the} petitioners hled the present writ^petition.

Sri P.Harsha Reddy, learned^{Standing Counselfor Singareni} Collieries has not disputed that^{the petitionershousesare required} for the purpose of mining^{activity ior Singareni Collieries.Learned} counsel has further^{submittedthat after conductingenquiry, the} petitioners were identified^{as the eiigible members/houselosers and} are entitled for^payment of^{compensationor any other alternate} house sites under the^{provisionsof the Land Acquisition} Rehabilitation and Resettlement^{Act, 2013.}

Since, it the case of the^{petitionersthat they are entitledfor} the benehts under the^{provisions of the Act, the respondents herein} are directed to examine^{the claim of the petitioners and shall extend} the benefits under the^{provisions of the Act to the petitionersalong} with other land losers.
