Petitioner filed an appeal under Section 4-A of the Telangana Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Acl, 1g77 before respondent No.2-Revenue Divisional Officer, Kandukur Division, Ranga Reddy District, challenging the resumption order dated 09.11.2004 passed by respondent No.3-Tahsildar, Amangal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, in Proceedings No.Bl 427 3l2OO4.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, and perused the material available on record

lt is submitted that though the petitioner preferred appeal on 24.08.2020, so far it is not registered. As there is delay on the part of respondent No.2 in registering the appeal, the present writ petition is filed.

ln view of innocuous relief sought by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to forthwith register the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 24.08.2O20 against the resumption order dated 09.11.2004 in Proceedings No. 8/427312004 passed by respondent No.3. No order as to costs.
