The writ petition can be disposed of on the hrm stand taken by learned Senior Counsel appearing for Powergrid Bidar Transmission Limited / respondent No.4.

Learned Senior Counsel submits that the respondent No.4 will follow the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which is part of the Guidelines for payment of compensation in regard to Right of Way (RoW) for transmission lines, issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Power, on 14.06.2024 (Annexure-lll of the Guidelines contains the SOP)

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners also places a Notification issued by the Ministry of Power on 18.04.2006 described as "The Works of Licensees Rules, 2006", which further provides several r€quirements including for the licensee to obtain permission in writing from the District
