Aggrieved by the action of respondent No.3 SubRegistrar, Gangadhara, Karimnagar District, in refusing to receive ancl register thc sale decd prcsenreci b-r'the petitioner 1n respect of the land admeasuring Ac.0.07 guntas 1n Sy.No. 16/9 of Rekurthv, Kar-imnagar Tourn and District, the present Writ Petition^js filed.

Learned counsel for the pe titioner submits that the docurnent presented by the petitioner for registration u,as not entertained by the Registering Authority for the reasons best known to it. Learned counsel also states that no reasons were assigned for not entertaining the document that l'rras presented for registration by the peti+.ioner, lr,hich is against the provisions of the Registration Act, l9O8 and therefore, a direction to the appropriate authority to entertain the document for registration rray be issued.

The Registering Authority is not empowered to refuse registration of document/s except under the circumstances mentioned under the Registration Act, lgog and the Rules made therr:under. Registering Authontg is clirected to receLue and register the document presented bg the petitioner in respect of the subject Land, in case, the said document complies with the prouisions of th.e Registration Act,

The Registeing Authontg can refuse to register the document in case, the said document is prohibited for registration under any of the prouisions of lau, Rules or Regulations made thereunder. Howeuer, the reasons assigned thereof and the decision taken shall be communicated to the petitioner in witinq. There shatl be no order as fo cosls.
