subjectproperty to the unofficialrespondentNo.7for a period of four from 01.07.2017 to 30.06.202..Thereafter,the years commenclng petitioner has not extended the lease, as theunotficialrespondent No.7 is using the subjectproperty forillegal activities.Even after expiry of leaseperiod, theunofficialrespondentNo.7 illegally continued inpossession of thesubject property. Since there is no valid lease in favour of unofficialrespondentNo.7 in respect of the subjectproperty, particularly aregistered lease deed, the petitioner made a representation, dated27.7O.2027, to the respondent authorities requesting not to renewthe licence of the unofficial respondent No.7 to run bar andrestaurant in the subject property,in terms of G.O.Ms,No.134,Revenue (Excise-1IDepartment),dated L3.L2.2019. In spite of thesame, the respondent No.2 renewed the licence of t'he unofficialrespondent No.7 and ultimately,prayed to cancel the ticence issued in favour of the unofficialrespondentNo.7.
