The order of^{resumptionunder the provisionsof the} Telangana Assigned^{Lands (Prohibitionof Transfers)Act, 1977} (for short 'Act 9 of^{1977')was passed by the Tahsildar'} Kamareddy, vide^{orders dated 02.12.2015 inproceedings} No.A21274712015-2,^{in respectof the landadmeasuringAc'1'15} gts in Sy.No.101 of^{NarsannapallyVillage' Kamareddy'} Challenging^{the same,appealunderSection4-A (l) of Act 9 of} 1977 was filed^{before respondent No'4} -^{RevenueDivisional} Officer and^{the same wasdismissedby order dated 16'01'2017'} Thereafter,^{it appearsrevision petitionis filed underSection4-A} (2) of Act 9 of^{1977 beforerespondentNo'3 - Joint Collectorand} the same was^{numberedas Case No'El/1830/2019'}

Learned counsel^{for the petitionerssubmittedthat the} Special^{Tribunal constitutedunder Section l6 of the 'felangana} Rights in Land^{and PattadarPass Books Act,2020 (for short 'Act} 2020') is empowered^{to hear appeals/revisionsarisingout of the} Telangana fughts^{in Landand PattadarPass BooksAct, l97l ' The} revisional^{jurisdictionconferred uponthe JointCollectorunder} Section^{4-A (2) of Act 9 of 197'7 has not been withdrawn and the} Joint Collector^{continues to have power to hear matters arising out} Act 9 of 1977.

Leamed Assistant^{Govemment Pleader for Revenue fairly} concedes that^{the SpecialTribunal has wronglyassumed} jurisdiction in Revision Petition filed^{under Section 4-A (2) of Act} 9 of 197'7.

As the impugned^{order is passed withoutjurisdiction,the} same is set aside. The Revision^{Petitionin CaseNo. D2l335/2021} (Old Case No.Ell1830/2019) is restored to file befbre^respondent No.3 - Joint Collector, Kamareddy District.^{RespondentNo.3 shall} hear the said Revision Petition on merits by^{affordingreasonable} opportunity to the petitioners and^pass final orders^{within a period} of six (6) weeks from the date of^receipt of^{a copy of this order.} The resumption order dated 02.12.2015^passed by the^Tahsildar,

Kamareddy, and the order dated 16.01.2017^passed by^respondent No.4 - Revenue Divisional Office, Kamareddy, confirming^the resumption order, shall not be given effect to and status^quo with regard to possession of the subject land shall be maintained until disposal of the Revision Petition by respondent No.3 -^Joint Collector.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as^to costs.
