This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure by the petitioner - accused No.1 to quash C.C.No.1S of 2019 on the hle of learned Judicial Magistrate of First Classat Khammam, the cognizance of which is taken for the offence under Sections 498-4, 42O and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

There is no representation on behaif of petitioner-accused No. 1.

Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has submitted that subsequent to filing of the criminal petition, the parties to the dispute have compromised the case before Lok Adalath on 13.1.2.2021 and accordingly, the trial Court has disposed of the case and to that extent letter dated 07.09.2022 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Khammam to the Public Prosecutor of the High Court is filed.
