Hearci learned counsel for the petitioner, the learnecl Covernment Pleader for Energy for respondent No.1, Sri R. Vinocl Reddy, the leamed Standing Counsel for TSSpDCL for respondent Nos.2 and 3, and the leamed Govemment pleader for Revenue for respondent No.4. With their consent, the Writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction on the part of respondent No.3 in considering the application made by the petitioner on 12.05.2027 for installation of New Eleckicity Meter in respect of the [Jdasin Mutt Land i.e., land admeasuring Ac.4.20 guntas in Survey No.368/1, Attapur Village, Rajenclranagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District.

The learned Government pleader for Revenue, on instructions, has stated that the land in respect of which the petitioner is seeking installation of new electricity meter is a Government land, and therefore, he has opposed the prayer sought for by the petitioner.

Having regard to the fact that the application dated -12.05.2021. made by the petitioner is only seeking installation of new electricity meter in the subject iand, the respondent No.3 is directed to consider the same and pass necessary orders thereon strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of

four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that before giving any new connection, respondent No.3 shall put the concerned Tahsildar on notice, call for his objections, and take into consideration the objections, if any, filed by the Tahsildar concerned within the time stipulated
