Petition under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. praying that in the circumstances stated in the petition filed herein, the High Court may be pleased to enlarge the Petitioner on Bail in the event of her arrest in FIR No.251/2008, dated 75/0912008, on the file of Karimnagar I Town PS, Karimnagar.

This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the^{petitioner/accused} seeking to^grant anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest in Cr.No.251 of 2008 on the file of Karimnagar I Tc,wn Police Station, Karimnagar District, registered for the offence^punisha ble under Section 420 lPC.

Heard learnr:d counsel for the petitioner/accused, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State and^perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused would submit that the petitioner is a Chartered Accountant and she joined in the company as lnternal Auditor with gross salary of Rs.20,0001 per month, and later promoted as Additional Director, and she used to look after the lnternal Audit and that during her tenure, she has not authorized or signed any kind of financial statements and she has no access to the documents/papers pertaining to the business and marketing of the company and in 2()08, she resigned her^job: He further submits that even as per the complaint, there are no specific allegations or overt acts against the petitioner and she is innocent of the alleged offences. He also submits that the petitioner is a law abiding citizen having good reputation in the society and she is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court in the event of her enlargement on anticipatory bail.

Learned As sistant Public Prosecutor vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances and looking into the nature of allegations leveled agarnst the petitioner, without adverting to the merits of the matter, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner/accused.

The Criminal Petition is accordingly allowed and the petitioner/accused is granted anticipatory bail subject to the following terms and conditions:

(1 ) The petitioner/accused is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Karimnagar I Town Police Station, Karimnagar District, within a period of 15 days from the date of this order and on such surrender, the said Station House Officer shall release the petitioner/accused on bail on her executing a personal bond to the tune of Rs.'15,000^ (Rupees fifteen thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to his satisfaction.

(2) The petitioner/accused shall abide by the other conditions stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

[v]iscellaneous applications, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
