Heard learned counsel lor petitioners and iearned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

On the allegation that crime No.172 of 2077 was registered under Section 307 lPC which resulted in fi1ing of charge sheet and taking cognizance of the crime and placing the petitioners for trial in S.C.No.140 of 20 18, Rowdy sheet was opened on 24.O4.2018 initially by Rein Bazaar Police Station and later transferred to the Shah AIi Banda Police station. ln the said Sessions Case. petitioners u'ere acquitted on 15.04.2019. Hou,ever, rou'dv shcet is continued. On 03.1,O.2O19 petitioners made a representartion rcquesting to revier,,, the decision to con[inue rou'dl shcct 'rnd tc> close rora,dy sheet. Alleging inaction on thc said rcpresentation, this r.r,rit petition is filed.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader does not dispute the factum of continuing of rowdy sheet. As per the statement of the competent authority informing the learned Assistant Government Pleader, it would show that the representation made on 03.10.2019 would be considered and appropriate decision u,ould be taken.
