Petition under Article 226 of lhe Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be^pleased to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of lVlandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent No.6 and 7 in non stopping the illegal activities of the respondent Nos. 8 to 11 for trying to murder the petitioner by keeping the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondent Nos.8 and 9 is highly illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Principles of Natural Justice and also in violation of Articles 14, 16, 21, 19 and 300-4 of the Constitution of lndia and consequently direct the 6th and 7th respondents to stop the illegal activities of the respondent Nos. B to 11 for trying to murder the petitioner by keeping the civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondent Nos. 8 and 9.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents ). lo7

2.. This writ petition is filed praying to declare the action of respondent Nos.6 and 7 in not stopping the illegal activities of respondent Nos.8 to I l, as illegal and arbitrary. Petitioner alleges that respondent Nos.8 to 11 are threatening the petitioner with dire consequences and have also threatened him that they would kill him. There were several attempts made to cause grave injuries on petitioner, but the petitioner has escaped. As no action is taken by the police and threat is looming 1arge, the police have to be directed to provide protection to the petitioner and to take expeditious action against the persons, who are acting inimical to the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home submits that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Crime No.135 of 2020 is registered in Vemulapalli Police Station and police are invc"stigating into the crime.

Having regard to the nature of allegations in the crime reported by petitioner and his apprehension of threat to life, it cannot be said that police will not show added expediency in investigating into the crime reported by the petitioner for this Court to issue further directions. It is needless to observe that it is
