Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of lndia praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Cou( may be pleased to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of mandamus dectaring the action of the Respondents in threatening and trying to open the rowdy sheet against the petitioners illegally and calling the Petitioners to the police station even in odd hours and midnight and making them to sit in police station for hours together as illegal, arbitrary, in violation of articles 14 and 21 the Constitution of lndia and in violation of Princrples of natural justice besides law laid down by this Honorable Court in similar matters and consequently direct the Respondents to close the rowdy sheet against the petitioners if already opened and also dlrect them not to call the petitioners to the police station pending the writ petition.
