Heard counsel for the petitioner, the Government Pleader for Energy appearing for 1^st respondent, Sri N.Siva Reddy, Standing Counsel appearing for respondent 2 to 6, the Government Pleader for Home appearing for 8^th respondent, Sri Nimmagadda Venkateshwarlu, Standing Counsel appearing for 9^th respondent, and Sri G.Praveen Kumar, Counsel appearing for 10^th respondent.

Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition assailing the order dt.07.02.2018 passed by the 4^th respondent directing the petitioner not to lay any new cables on the electrical poles installed by the 2^nd respondent-Company.

It is not disputed by Sri N.Siva Reddy, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 6 that after the Writ Petition was filed, G.O.Ms.No.15 Energy, Infrastructure & Investment (Power.I) Department dt.11.06.2018 was issued by the 1^st respondent, introducing a policy frame work by fixing appropriate rental charges.

In terms of the said policy, there is no prohibition to lay any new cables on the 2^nd respondent’s electrical poles, subject to payment of rental charges.

In this view of the matter, the Writ Petition is allowed setting aside the impugned order dt.07.02.2018 of the 4^th respondent and the respondents are directed to give the benefit of the G.O.Ms.No.15, dt.11.06.2018 as prayed by the petitioner in its application dt.29.06.2018 made to the 6^th respondent. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
