WRIT PETITION No.14383 of 2008
ORDER:
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Municipality.
This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the first respondent in not taking steps for demolishing the illegal construction made by the third respondent in premises bearing H.No.6-1-541 situated at Vidyanagar, Nalgonda Town.
Now the learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that after filing of the Writ Petition, the roof slab which was projected to a width of 3 feet was demolished by the municipal authorities and in respect of toilets abutting the plot of the petitioner, the Government issued direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Nalgonda, to demolish the toilets immediately under compliance to the Government vide Government Memo No.12514/M1/2009 dated 06.10.2009. The toilets were also removed on 09.12.2009 with the help of the public health workers.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed recording the said statement made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
