ORDER:

This application is filed by the Official Liquidator for the following reliefs :

(a) To direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to inform this Court the steps taken by them in pursuance of order dated 4-8-2010 made in W.P.Nos.3599, 3600 of 2000 and 20226 of 2001; or in the alternative to permit the Official Liquidator to adjudicate the claims of the workmen taking 29-6-2000 as the date of closure and their debt is admitted as a secured debt against their backwages from March 2000 to June 2000 as stated in para-10 of the application; and

(b) to order costs of the application out of the assets of the company.

Mr. K. Pradeep Chandra, Special Chief Secretary to Government of Telangana State, filed a counter-affidavit wherein it is inter alia stated that vide his order dated 6-82014 addressed to the Assistant Official Liquidator attached to this Court, he has informed that there is no objection for the Government to permit the Official Liquidator to adjudicate the claims of the workmen taking 29-6-2000 as the date of closure and treating the backwages payablele

from March 2000 to June 2000 as secured debt as already specified vide Government letter No.14555/IFR.II/2010-2, dated 27-1-2011.

At the hearing, Sri P. Srinivas, learned Counsel representing Sri B.G. Ravinder Reddy, learned Counsel for respondent No.4, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Industries and Commerce, submitted that their clients have no objection for this course.

In view of the same, the Official Liquidator is permitted to adjudicate the claims of the workmen taking 29-6-2000 as the date of closure and treating the back wages payable to the workmen from March 2000 to June 2000 as secured debt. After giving notice to all the persons interested, the Official Liquidator shall complete adjudication within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
