CONTEMPT CASE No.141 of 2014
ORDER: (Per Hon’ble Sri Justice R.Subhash Reddy)
This contempt case, under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, is filed by the appellant in W.A.No.967 of 2013 alleging disobedience to the directions issued by this Court in the order dated 18.07.2013 passed in W.A.No.967 of 2013.
In the aforesaid order, while disposing of the writ appeal, this Court held that the petitioner-appellant is entitled to 25% backwages from the date of his termination till the date of reinstatement into service.
Today when the matter is called for hearing, it is submitted that after filing of this contempt case, the respondent has paid backwages to the petitioner as per the directions of this Court.
In view of the aforesaid submission, the Contempt Case is closed. However, if there is any dispute with regard to quantum of wages, this will not preclude the petitioner from taking steps in accordance with law.
