O R D E R:

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on both sides, this Writ Petition is heard and disposed of by this order.

The writ petitioner, at the relevant point of time, was working as an Attender in the Office of the Executive Engineer of the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes Cooperative Finance Corporation Limited. He was placed under suspension on 04.02.1999 in view of his suspected involvement in embezzlement of funds of the Corporation. However, he was reinstated back to duty on 11.11.1999 pending prosecution of a criminal case. The criminal case launched against the petitioner along with another in C.C.No. 347 of 2001 ended on 13.07.2007 acquitting the writ petitioner of the charge laid against him. He has submitted a representation hence, for regularizing the period of his absence from duty between 04.02.1999 and 11.11.1999 as period spent on duty. No orders have been passed so far thereon. Hence, this Writ Petition.

Since the learned Standing Counsel has agreed that the matter will be attended to and appropriate orders will be passed within a maximum period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, this Writ Petition stands disposed of directing the respondents to finalize the issue relating to regularization of the period between 04.02.1999 and 11.11.1999 and pass appropriate orders and communicate the same to the petitioner. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
