Though this writ petition is preferred challenging the orders passed on 12.03.2013 by the Regional Manager, Vijayawada transferring the writ petitioner from Vuyyur Depot to Autonagar Depot of Vijayawada city, learned counsel for the petitioner Sri S.M.Subhan would urge that the writ petitioner would be making a detailed representation to the Regional Manager narrating as to how the transfer order passed by him is likely to cause innumerable difficulties. I therefore consider that it would be in the fitness of things that the writ petitioner should bring his peculiar difficulties including his requirement at Vuyyur, as his wife is undergoing treatment for a psychological disorder, and hence, the petitioner is required to keep a careful watch and also monitor her day-to-day activities and therefore, his presence near home is required.

Sri K.Satyanarayana Murthy, learned Standing Counsel who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents would assure this Court that the Regional Manager, Vijayawada, will show appropriate amount of compassion and reconsider the matter afresh.

It is one of the principles followed by all Human Resource Managers to ensure that in case of health complications and complaints relating to the family members of an employee, such cases deserve compassion to be shown and an extra cushion should be provided than what is normally provided in case of other employees. Such compassion to be shown is more needed where the family member is also undergoing treatment for a psychological disorder. The presence of an employee at home or the necessity to be present at a short notice, in such cases deserves compassion to be shown.

I have no doubt in my mind that the Regional Manager as suggested by the learned Counsel, would spare adequate and appropriate compassion and consideration towards the cause of the

writ petitioner and would reconsider his orders dated 12.03.2013. If the petitioner makes any such representation within a period of fifteen days from today, the same may be attended to and appropriate orders be passed within a maximum period of thirty days from the date of receipt of any such representation.

With this, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. The Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
