ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief : “ … to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the proceedings in Rc.A/262/2013 dated 21-11-2013 issued by 2nd respondent thereby directing 3rd respondent to provide police protection to 4th respondent and consequential action of 3rd respondent in insisting the petitioners to vacate from their agricultural lands admeasuring Ac.1-50 cents and Ac.055 cents respectively covered by R.S.No.13/1 of Chekkapalli Revenue Village in Musnuru Mandal of Krishna District, as illegal, irregular, irrational, without jurisdiction, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in any manner with physical possession of petitioners over their respective lands …”
Respondent No.2 filed an affidavit wherein he has submitted that he has issued the impugned letter requesting respondent No.3 to provide police protection to respondent No.4 in order to honour the order of injunction granted in favour of respondent No.4 in O.S.No.68/2013 on the file of the learned Senior Civil Judge, Nuzvid and that on realising that he does not have the power to address such a letter, he has issued proceedings in Rc.A.262/2013, dated 1912-2013. Respondent No.2 has enclosed a copy of the said proceedings withdrawing the impugned proceedings.
In view of the corrective steps taken by respondent No.2 by withdrawing the impugned letter and the explanation submitted by him, the Writ Petition is closed.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.46431/2013 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
