The petitioners pleaded that they were assigned house plots comprised in small extents in the years 2005 and 2006. They have filed copies of purported assignments in support of this plea. On 19.10.2013, respondent No.3 has issued separate but identical notices to the petitioners, wherein it is stated that the petitioners are in possession of land admeasuring Ac.0.03 cents each in survey No.1/24 of Piler Village Mandal, Chittoor District, and raised huts with asbestos sheets illegally. Respondent No.3 has, therefore, called upon the petitioners to remove the encroachments and vacate the plots in their occupation. Respondent No.3 further informed the petitioners that if they have any objections to vacate the plots in their occupation, they shall file written objections within one week. In reply to the said notices, the petitioners claimed to have submitted their reply notices/explanations on 23.10.2013 through their lawyer. The grievance of the petitioners is that without any enquiry and taking any decision, respondent No.3 along with his staff visited the petitioners’ houses on 30.10.2013 and directed them to vacate the houses. Feeling aggrieved by this action, the petitioners filed this writ petition.
