WRIT PETITION No.19380 of 2000
ORDER:-
This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to call the petitioner for interview and consider her claim for promotion to the post of Professor under Career Advancement Scheme taking into account the overall service put up by her in terms of Note 3 of Paragraph 5 of appendix to G.O.Ms.No.208 Higher Education Department.
Today when this matter is called, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the sole writ petitioner in this writ petition died and the cause of action of this writ petition does not survive.
Recording the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
