THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.4135 OF 2013
ORDER:
The petitioners-A.1 to A.4 preferred the present Criminal Petition by invoking the provision under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (in short ‘Cr.P.C.’) seeking to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No.375 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Salur, Vizianagaram District.
Heard.
The petitioners are alleged to have committed offences punishable under Section 177, 182 and 420 r/w Section 34 IPC.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the nature of the offence alleged, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the proceedings in the above C.C.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is insisted by the trial Court.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
