ORDER:
The petitioner apprehends arrest in Crime No.384 of 2012 of Old Guntur P.S., Guntur Urban, registered for the offences under section 498-A I.P.C., and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
This is second bail application filed by him seeking anticipatory bail. The earlier application being Crl. Petition No.9072 of 2012 filed by him came to be dismissed, sofar is concerned, by order dated 27.12.2012.
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State.
It is contended by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner is suffering from serious ailments and in the event of his arrest, there is every likelihood of his health being deteriorated.
Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor opposed the application. The earlier application came to be dismissed taking into consideration the accusations leveled against him. I do not see any change of circumstance. In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to surrender himself before the concerned court and move an application seeking for regular bail.
