CRIMINAL PETITION No.15182 of 2013 ORDER:
This criminal petition is filed by the petitioner-Accused under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking anticipatory bail in Crime No.563 of 2013 of Pattabhipuram Police Station, Guntur Town and District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner – Accused and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-state.
3. It is alleged in the first information report that the petitioner was harassing the de facto complainant by demanding additional dowry of Rs.10.00 lakhs and beat her severely due to which her hearing was impaired.
4. In view of the aforesaid specific allegations, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
