ORDER
The petitioner-A1 apprehends arrest in Cr.No.1212 of 2013 of KPHB Colony Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 498-A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State.
It is alleged against the petitioner-A1 that he harassed the de facto complainant for want of additional dowry and on the instigation of A2, A1 beat her severely for which she was admitted in the hospital. It is also alleged that the petitioner demanded the de facto complainant to give him the house property owned by the mother of the de facto complainant.
In view of the specific allegations leveled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.
Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
