ORDER
The petitioner-A2 is accused in Cr.No.216 of 2013 of Shameerpet Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304-B, 302 read with 34 IPC.
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State.
According to the prosecution, A1 to A3 hatched a plan to eliminate the victim and left the house at morning hours on the pretext of attending their respective works. Thereafter, the victim and her 1 ½ years daughter received burn injuries and subsequently, the victim succumbed to injuries.
The statement made by the deceased to the police indicates that A1 and A2 poured kerosene on her and set her to fire.
In view of the specific allegation leveled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
