ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-A2 under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings in Crime No.68 of 2010 on the file of the Station House Officer, Paderu Police Station, Viskhapatnam District, which was registered for the
offence punishable under Sections 420, 498-A, 494, 506 (2) and Section 3 (1) (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989 and Section 3 of the Dowry Prohibition Act read with Section 34 IPC.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor represented that the police have investigated the matter and filed charge sheet, which after committal is numbered as S.C.No.39 of 2010 on the file of the Sessions Judge for Trial of Offences Under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
