O R D E R
The petitioner is A1 in Cr.No.219 of 2013 of Woman Police Station, Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.
Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState.
The allegation made in the First Information Report against the petitioner-A1 is that he along with his family members harassed the
de facto complainant for additional dowry. Basing on the report given by the de facto complainant, a case in Cr.No.219 of 2013 was registered against the accused for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.
A perusal of the entire material shows that the allegations made in the First Information Report clearly discloses that the petitioner has committed the offence punishable under Section 498A of IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there was no marriage between the de facto complainant and the petitioner, but the de facto complainant asserted in her complaint that the petitioner married her and this aspect has to be dealt with by the trial Court.
Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the criminal petition is dismissed.
