These petitions coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petitions and the affidavits filed therein and upon hearing the arguments of Sri K. Chidambaram, Advocate for the Petitioners in both the cases, and of the Addl. Public Prosecutor for the Respondents in both the cases, the Court made the following.

ORDER:

“Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor representing the State. 2. The petitioners in both the cases are accused in FIR No.95 of 2013 of U. Kothapalli PS, U. Kothapalli, East Godavari District. It is stated that the complainant belongs to YSRCP party and the petitioners-accused belong to Telugu Desam party and during Grampanchayat elections, disputes arose between them which led to an attack on the complainant on 17-09-2013 armed with iron rods and sticks. It is stated that after treatment for the injuries sustained, the complainant was discharged from the hospital. It is also stated that the petitioners-accused are in custody since 21-9-2013.

3. In the circumstances, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioners-accused. The petitioners-accused be released on bail on executing personal bond each for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousands) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of JFCM, Pithapuram, East Godavari District. 4. The criminal petitions are allowed.”
