measuring Ac.1.35 cents, S.No:96 measuring Ac.0.24 cents, S.No:97 measuring Ac.1.33 cents and S.No:98 measuring Ac.0.58 cents, were granted to the Police Department for construction of their quarters long back. It is further stated that on 24.5.2011, the Circle Inspector of Police, Chandragiri submitted a requisition requesting for survey and demarcation of the above lands and in pursuance thereof a survey was held during which it was noticed that the petitioners had encroached a part of the land in the above said survey numbers and constructed their residential houses. It is also explained that the land in S.No:93/1 measuring Ac.0.37 cents is classified as a road poramboke and one K.Erramma Reddy and Mattireddigari Subbarami Reddy were granted house site pattas in respect of the said lands. However, the petitioners-2 and 3 who are the relatives of the said persons in whose favour the house site pattas were granted along with the petitioner No:1 had encroached upon a part of the land allotted to the Police Department and constructed residential houses. Thus it is contended that it is necessary to evict the petitioners from the encroached land.
