This writ petition is filed complaining of inaction of respondent No.2 in expediting the process of re-considering the petitioners’ application for restoring the recognition for B.Ed., course withdrawn by it.

Against order dated 06.03.2012 of respondent No.2, whereby the recognition for conducting B.Ed., course granted to petitioner No.2 was withdrawn, the petitioners filed statutory appeal before respondent No.1. The said appeal was allowed by respondent No.1 by its order, dated 17.07.2012, and the case was remanded to respondent No.2 for causing inspection of the new premises and to take a fresh decision after such inspection. In pursuance of the said order, respondent No.2, in its 232^nd meeting held on 29-31 August 2012, decided to issue a show cause notice on certain alleged deficiencies noted down in its minutes.

The grievance of the petitioners is two folded viz., that even though all the alleged deficiencies noted by respondent No.2 were duly complied with, the latter is again and again pointing out the same deficiencies and that, at any rate, having decided to issue a show cause notice, respondent No.2 has not so far issued such show cause notice even though the first phase of counseling has already been over and the second phase is also proposed to be held in a short while from now.

Mr. D.Raghavender Rao, learned counsel representing Mr. D.Madhava Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, submitted that respondent No.2 will issue the show cause notice and

take a decision in a time bound manner.

In the light of the above submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, respondent No.2 is directed to issue the show cause notice expeditiously and not later than one week from the date of receipt of this order. The petitioners shall forthwith file their objections. Within one week of receipt of the objections, respondent No.2 shall appoint a visiting team, which shall submit a report within one week after their appointment. Immediately on receipt of the inspection report, respondent No.2 shall take a final decision and communicate the same to the petitioners.

Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, WPMP.No.40728 of 2012, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous.
