It is the case of the petitioner that his father was initially appointed as a Mechanic in the Tirumala Tirupathi Transport Wing in the year 1969. Subsequently, the said wing was merged in the respondent Corporation. It is the further case of the petitioner that after merger, his father worked in the respondent Corporation as a Leading Hand. It appears, while in service, the father of the petitioner left for Kuwait without prior permission of the Corporation and without sanction of any leave and, therefore, treating the said period as unauthorized absence, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the father of the petitioner and he was, ultimately, removed from service by order dated 12.07.1984 and the same was upheld by the appellate authority vide order dated 31.12.1986. Aggrieved thereby, the father of the petitioner raised industrial dispute before the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Ananthapur, which has taken the same on file as I.D.No.78 of 1994. During pendency of the said I.D., the father of the petitioner died on 25.06.1995. Thereafter, after detailed consideration of the matter, the Labour Court passed the award on 23.05.1997 with the following terms:
